As we grow our customer footprint across EMEA, we're looking for an experienced, creative and driven regional leader to develop, direct and deliver a portfolio of high impact marketing programs. In strong partnership with other marketing functions and sales teams, this role will generate marketing pipeline through targeted, integrated programs and associated cross-channel activities to raise awareness of PagerDuty among various customer communities, support the development of executive customer relationships, and move opportunities to closure in support of PagerDuty’s regional sales goals. 

Your work at PagerDuty will contribute to the growth of our field marketing programs in EMEA, and as such, we're looking for you to apply your experience while remaining curious and nimble as we rapidly experiment and iterate on what drives results for our company.

How You Impact Our Vision:

  • Own the strategy and delivery of Marketing’s contribution to pipeline and bookings in the region, designing the regional marketing programming that drives awareness and demand in the EMEA market.
  • Be a strategic thought partner to our EMEA leadership team and trusted advisor to the GTM organization on PagerDuty’s market positioning.
  • Manage a regional budget that delivers against our regional growth objectives for various audiences.
  • As an expert on our current and future users, regularly research, identify and present sponsorship and event marketing opportunities which support the strategy and program mix as our business evolves.
  • Oversee and develop 1-1, 1-few, and 1-many campaigns that help educate practitioners about PagerDuty.
  • Oversee regional event management and delivery including: audience development, messaging, vendor sourcing and relations, production, and logistics.
  • Ensure ROI measurements across programs for continuous improvement and to set future direction.
  • Build programs that create a sense of shared community and affinity for our company and products through non-event channels such as customer references and use cases, regular customer communications and thought leadership.
  • Partner with Corporate Marketing to engage developers on social media in EMEA.
  • Align regional strategy to an integrated global demand generation calendar and across our products, including touch points with paid media, social marketing, content plans and major launch announcements.
  • Work with the Design team to manage the brand in-region across all swag, giveaways, and collateral.
  • Work closely with the Sales and Business Development teams to generate and accelerate opportunities, tracking performance and marketing pipeline results in close partnership with Marketing Operations.
  • Track results across all programs and tactics, including lead routing, lead conversion, and pipeline generation.
  • Collaborate with the central Digital/Web Marketing, Campaigns, Customer Marketing, Events, Operations and Product Marketing teams to develop integrated plans.

About You:

  • Driven, motivated by results and contribution to pipeline/revenue to generate qualified leads.
  • You’re a marketing leader; knowledgeable and experienced at using a mix of tactics to deliver the right message to the right person at the right time.
  • You’re an expert at developing and executing an enterprise marketing plan across a diverse sales team.
  • Consistent track record in creating and executing integrated marketing campaigns using tactics that include live events, webinars, digital advertising, and social media.
  • You’re fluent in funnel metrics, analysis and the ability to glean insights from reporting.
  • Exceptional communication skills both written/verbal, influencing skills and project management skills.
  • Knowledge of the B2B purchase process and how to find opportunities to create demand and accelerate pipeline.
  • Familiarity with the technology sales cycle and how to employ marketing communication strategies to nurture leads, drive adoption and accelerate growth.
  • Thrive in dynamic, fast paced, high performance environments.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
  • 10+ years of progressive growth in marketing roles in high growth companies, Software/SaaS/B2B technology industry experience is preferred.
  • 3+ years’ experience leading a marketing function, or similar, used to managing multiple projects at one time.
  • Ability to handle individual contributor responsibilities in addition to people management responsibilities such as guiding, performance managing and mentoring a team.
  • Proficiency in essential tracking and event management tools such as Marketo, Salesforce.com and DemandBase.
  • Ability to work effectively in a global matrix and remote team environment
  • Experience with targeting, segmentation, and list acquisition to build prospect lists for demand generation campaigns.
  • Experience in Account Based Marketing (ABM) approaches.
  • Background in supporting product launches.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25-40%.
