PagerDuty is growing, and we are looking for an experienced Manager to help design and implement a world-class, global Salesforce environment. As a Manager, Enterprise Applications, you will lead a team of developers and contribute hands-on to design, build, and support PagerDuty's growing enterprise application environment – ensuring availability, reliability, and security for our users and critical business data. 

 

Together with the other members of the enterprise applications team, you will have the opportunity to re-define how PagerDuty designs, builds, and maintains a growing suite of applications around the world.

 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Lead and manage a team of Salesforce developers and quality analysts to ensure effective implementation, customization, and maintenance of Salesforce applications.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders to conceptualize and interpret requirements, aligning business process efficiencies with system functionality.
  • Drive strategic initiatives aligned with business objectives to optimize Salesforce capabilities and integration across the enterprise.
  • Oversee day-to-day operations of Salesforce applications, including user support, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.
  • Actively contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of Salesforce applications and integrations.
  • Implement process improvements and automations to optimize operational and support processes.
  • Maintain and continuously improve Lead to Order processes enabled with Salesforce, Zuora, CPQ, SpringCM, Marketo, DocuSign, and other related sales & procurement enterprise applications.
  • Stay current with Salesforce best practices, new features, and industry trends to drive innovation and efficiency.
  • Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.

 

Basic Qualifications:

  • Strong understanding of Salesforce platform architecture, security, and scalability considerations.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Salesforce development, with 1+ years in a managerial or team lead role.
  • Proven leadership skills with experience in managing and motivating a team of administrators and developers.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to balance management duties with hands-on development work.

 

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Certified Administrator, Salesforce Certified Platform Developer) preferred.
  • 1-2 years experience with Salesforce CPQ preferred.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and project management tools (e.g., JIRA) is a plus.
  • Self-starter, reliable team player with ability to deliver projects on-time
  • Ability to thrive in high-intensity, rapidly changing environment, and to successfully manage multiple projects simultaneously with a sense of urgency
