As Regional Marketing Specialist, Events (APJ), you are a motivated self-starter who is passionate about planning and executing marketing programs that drive pipeline and revenue. You will work closely with the Senior Marketing Manager on various exciting programs across the Asia Pacific and Japan. You consider planning and executing events and exciting audiences to use PagerDuty to be a thrill! You will be an excellent communicator who enjoys building relationships and collaborating with many contributors across all facets of marketing and sales. The candidate can be based in Sydney or Melbourne.

You will be responsible for the following:

  • Planning and executing regional marketing programs that generate new leads and move sales opportunities to close
  • Support all aspects of event management.
  • You will be responsible for liaising with vendors, logistics, and audience outreach to ensure events are a success
  • Localise global demand generation programs to the Asia Pacific and Japan region. Including localising sales outreach emails, copywriting social media posts, creating marketing emails, and designing landing pages
  • Work with the Design team to manage the brand in-region across all swag, giveaways, and collateral
  • Work with Marketing Operations to upload leads following events and ensure leads are correctly routed and followed up by sales
  • Track the success and ROI of programs
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams and project manage the efforts of a broad group of stakeholders to deliver programs.

What You've Accomplished:

  • You will demonstrate a passion for a career in marketing with a Bachelors degree or equivalent experience and at least two years of related B2B marketing experience, ideally within a technology / SaaS organisation.
  • You will have created marketing collateral with strong writing skills and be able to communicate with clients and internal stakeholders at all levels.
  • You will show strong attention to detail and commercial acumen to create reports and ROI metrics for marketing activities.
  • You will demonstrate an excellent ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize your work and meet deadlines.
  • Being self-driven and able to work autonomously comes naturally to you.
  • Experience with Marketo and Salesforce is highly desirable, but the ability to learn new technologies is more important to us.

Preferred but not essential:

  • Experience working at a B2B technology company, preferably SaaS
  • Experience working with Marketo and Salesforce, as well as other marketing tools
  • Experience marketing SaaS platforms and offerings within the B2B industry
