Why We Need You

PagerDuty is looking for a lead Automation Analyst to join the Enterprise Applications team within the CIO organization. As an automation Analyst, you will be playing a critical role in driving digital transformation and operational efficiency at PagerDuty. You will be responsible for leading a company-wide automation program to  drive efficiency and scale, using various technologies to automate repetitive tasks, saving thousands of FTE hours to spend on more critical business needs. You will be involved from idea to implementation and completion, overseeing all aspects of the program. You will be responsible for working closely with business counterparts to identify opportunities for automation across lead to cash, record to report, procure to pay, and financial close processes. As you partner with each process expert, you will be responsible for helping to define a high-impact roadmap of use cases, effective solution designs, and implementation and change plans to ensure high adoption and success. You will also be hyperfocused on measuring the changes and the direct impact those changes had on the business. 

How You Contribute to Our Vision - Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and process owners to help identify opportunities for automation.
  • Gather requirements, design, and propose automated solutions for efficiency improvement.
  • Develop strategies to automate business processes in accordance with RPA/Automation best practices.
  • Partner with the Enterprise Applications team to integrate automation solutions with existing systems and applications.
  • Conduct thorough testing and troubleshooting, working with business stakeholders, to ensure the effectiveness of the automation solutions.
  • Create documentation for implemented solutions, including process workflows and technical specifications.
  • Provide training and support to end-users and internal teams on intelligent automation tools and processes.
  • Communicate to stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle to ensure alignment between business goals and automation initiatives.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business Administration or related field
  • Understanding and experience implementing of the technologies (UiPath, Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism etc.) and processes related to Robotic Process Automation
  • Knowledge of APIs (Application Programming Interfaces) and web services for integrating RPA solutions with other systems and applications.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience working in a public company, including experience implementing and maintaining SOX controls for financial reporting and other regulatory/compliance initiatives.
  • Experience with Agile project management & development/deployment methodologies.

The base salary range for this position is 113,000 - 158,000 CAD. This role may also be eligible for bonus, commission, equity, and/or benefits.

Our base salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range, which is subject to change based on primary work location, reflects the minimum and maximum base salary we expect to pay newly hired employees for the position. Within the range, we determine pay for an individual based on a number of factors including market location, job-related knowledge, skills/competencies and experience.
