PagerDuty does not provide private health insurance as employees are covered by the universal insurance system which provides public health (medical) insurance and pension insurance pursuant to applicable law.
Social Insurance in Japan consists of Pension, Health, Unemployment and Workers Accident Compensation. Pension benefit is paid once the insured person is 65, unemployed, and if they have paid pension premiums for at least 10 years. The benefit amount depends on one’s total contribution. Health insurance provides medical coverage for all insured residents, and long-term care insurance provides elderly care benefits. It also provides allowances in cases of childbirth, injury, sickness and death. Unemployment insurance provides unemployment allowance, as well as childcare and family care leave allowances. Worker’s accident compensation insurance provides medical care allowance for work and commuting related injuries, diseases and deaths, as well as compensation allowance for unpaid medical leave period which exceeds 4 days.
Mental Health Support | Headspace Care provides individualized mental health support, including one-on-one behavioral health coaching, and self-guided care options. Headspace Care also delivers confidential mental health resources through text-based chats and self-guided activities. PagerDuty recognizes the importance of offering these services to empower individuals on their mental health journey, including access to meditation and mindful resources. |
Family Planning and Support | PagerDuty collaborates with Cleo Baby to provide Family Planning & Support for both new and expecting parents. Cleo Baby specializes in assisting individuals as they navigate the journey from work to parenthood and back to the workplace seamlessly. In addition, PagerDuty offers essential parental leave options, recognizing the significance of enabling parents to bond with their newborns, foster a healthy work-life balance, and ensure the overall well-being of the family. |
