Senior Executive Assistant - Chief People Officer

PagerDuty is seeking a Senior Executive Assistant to join our team! As Senior Executive Assistant, you will report directly to our Chief People Officer, serving as a trusted partner and advisor while managing confidential correspondence, preparing research, and handling complex projects, including executive meetings, board meetings, and travel logistics. This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with senior leadership in a fast-paced environment where your organizational skills and discretion will directly impact executive effectiveness. The ideal candidate has extensive experience supporting Senior level/C-level executives, thrives in dynamic environments, and demonstrates exceptional judgment and professionalism.

This role is expected to come into our San Francisco office at least 2 days per week, so you can thrive in your new role and fully embrace being a Dutonian!

*We are only considering candidates currently based in the San Francisco Bay Area at this time.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Strategically manage the CPO's calendar to align with highest priorities, prepare comprehensive briefing materials, and serve as the primary point person for a complex and ever-changing schedule
  • Coordinate and manage all aspects of domestic and international travel, optimizing logistics based on meeting locations and preferences
  • Plan and execute virtual and in-person meetings, offsites, and events including monthly executive meetings, quarterly board meetings, and annual leadership kickoffs
  • Attend weekly staff meetings, capture action items, and follow up until completion while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism at all times
  • Partner with the People team Global Business Operations Partner on key business priorities and initiatives

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5+ years of executive support experience - senior leadership (SVP+) support experience a must have
  • Experience in B2B SaaS environments
  • Demonstrated experience managing complex travel logistics
  • Advanced proficiency with G Suite (Google Docs, Slides, Calendar), Slack, Excel/Sheets, and video conferencing technologies

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience supporting a Chief People Officer
  • Experience leading/managing other administrative professionals
  • Superior organizational and time management skills with strong attention to detail
  • Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
  • Professional demeanor with the highest standards of integrity and discretion

The base salary range for this position is 131,000 - 220,000 USD. This role may also be eligible for bonus, commission, equity, and/or benefits.

Our base salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range, which is subject to change based on primary work location, reflects the minimum and maximum base salary we expect to pay newly hired employees for the position. Within the range, we determine pay for an individual based on a number of factors including market location, job-related knowledge, skills/competencies and experience.
